115 “Companies to Watch” Showcase Technology in Poster Fair
This was part of a larger event being held that day called the Cantor Colburn/CCAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit, which included a northeast angel investor summit sponsored by The Angel Investor Forum (www.angelinvestorforum.com/). Nearly 100 angel investors from Connecticut Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania attended. A key component of the evening’s program put the spotlight on 115 “Companies to Watch” in a poster fair exhibit of their products and services to attendees.

During the awards ceremony, the Connecticut Technology Council honored U.S. Senator Christopher J. Dodd (D) with an Award of Appreciation. Senator Dodd has been a friend and supporter of efforts to help grow the Connecticut technology economy and has consistently supported the angel community. He addressed the gathering via video from Washington, congratulating the winners and applauding the efforts of all the participating entrepreneurs.
