Positive news for CT by Mike Nicastro

This past week brought some very positive news for Connecticut’s business community when Gov. M. Jodi Rell announced the state’s newly developed Economic Strategic Plan. Calling it a “Blueprint for Connecticut’s Economic Success” this detailed plan seeks to make Connecticut more business friendly while at the same time investing in technology and infrastructure that will improve Connecticut’s competitive position and in turn retain and create jobs.

The 550-page plan being developed by the state Department of Economic and Community Development has been posted to the DECD Web site, www.ct.gov/ecd. I encourage everyone and especially our chamber members to go to the DECD site and take a look at the plan.
